We pray because God is sovereign.

 

The 2 "Wills of God" :

1. God’s Sovereign Will (God’s Will of Decree)

2. God’s Will of Command (the Revealed Will of God)

 

Seeking God’s Will in Prayer:
priority – “I want to know you more than anything”
surrender – “I submit to your will, whatever that may be”
sensitivity – “I want to be more sensitive to your voice”
obedience – "Show me how I can obey You so that I can glorify you"
