How do you respond when you are wronged? Today's passage has to do with how we respond to being wronged or sinned against. Jesus takes the oldest law known to mankind, lex talionis, eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth, and elevates it to a seemingly impossible level. 

We live in a culture of compromise. Jesus in our passage today calls his people to lives of integrity, consistency, and truthfulness. One of the most powerful things we can do is simply to be true to our word

As we continue our series, today we are looking at Jesus' vision for our sexuality. We need to understand that sex is God-given and should therefore be God-governed. 

As we continue our series, Jesus is going to talk about the sin behind the sin of the 6th commandment, "You shall not murder." He is going to talk about anger, hatred, bitterness, unforgiveness, and the urgency of reconciliation.
